This 2019 we will celebrate our VI World Cocoa Summit, committing ourselves to overcome the success of the previous years and focused to achieve greater participation in exhibitors, producers and assistants of the cocoa industry.

The World Cocoa Summit, organized by APROCAFA (Association of Producers of Fine Cocoa and Aroma), ANECACAO (National Association of Cocoa Exporters) and EXPOPLAZA guarantee a first level event in conjunction with a Technical Committee formed by professionals committed to presenting the most important news of the sector.

PRO ECUADOR will be part of the VI Cocoa Summit endorsing as the Institute for the Promotion of Exports and Investments, representing part of the Ministry of Foreign Trade, responsible for executing the policies and regulations for the promotion of exports and investments in the country.

The most important in Ecuador, with more than 15 lectures on technological advances and innovation in: soil, fertilization, diseases, genetics, quality, among other topics of interest worldwide. Our speakers are recognized Professionals / Scientists / Investigators, the Congress has:

Forums and Conversions on the problems and opportunities that affect the cocoa sector.

We will have 500 participants.

Directed to Technicians, Researchers, General Managers, Agricultural Division Managers, Technical Managers, Producers, Exporters, and Representatives of the World Cacao Sector.

The Congress participant have the benefit of registering and participating in our field day, where we will visit “Hacienda San José”, giving us a practical knowledge of what we learned during the lectures.

The III contest “LA PEPA DE ORO” is an event of competitiveness and quality of the Ecuadorian CACAO, in which the best flavor of cocoa produced in the country will be identified.

OBJECTIVES:

To inform the distinctive qualities, differentials and excellence of cocoa to local and international specialists, buyers and consumers.

Promote the linkage of cocoa producers and the development of activities related to the cocoa chain.

Encourage and promote best practices so that Ecuador stays internationally as the Best Cocoa in the World.
